Today, our PhD student Felix Schneider successfully defended his thesis on "Figure Ground processing in the auditory cortex of the macaque monkey". Thanks to our external examiner, Dr Stephen Town from University College London, for making this trip to Newcastle. Also thanks to Prof Jenny Read, the internal examiner.
Our lab will be at Association for Research in Otolaryngology's (ARO) annual midwinter meeting in Jan 2020 at San Jose.

Our UG medical student Agatha Chu who did a summer internship in our lab wins Newcastle University Research scholarship 2019. You can watch her give the talk during the award ceremony.
We welcome UG psychology students Amie Stowes, Ella Morley, Haruno McCartney to our lab.
